A set of Beatles autographs, early 1963, in red and blue ballpoints and turquoise ink on the inside of a cigarette packet taped into an album. FOOTNOTES: The signatures were obtained by the vendor when the Beatles played at the El Rio Dance Hall, Macclesfield, 28th January. Immediately following this appearance the group then travelled some twenty miles for a booking at the King's Hall, Stoke-on-Trent. SALEROOM NOTICES: The footnote to this lot is incorrect: on 28th January the Beatles appeared at the Majestic Ballroom, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
